About our name
The name came quickly to me, I have always loved the old Roman phrase "Carpe Diem" this translates to "Seize the day".
It preaches living life in the moment and not letting anything pass you by. It teaches you to do everything today because tomorrow is not promised. Over the years I have lived by this phrase and it has lead me around the world and now back to Sudbury to start my own business.
Naturally, Capture Diem is my newest adventure.
I want to help people take advantage of the NOW and to not only seize the day...but to Snap The Day.
About me
From a young age, I have always been an adventurer. After travelling to over 20 countries, I packed up my 2001 Saturn Coupe and drove to British Columbia where I lived for 5 years. I spent my time learning to snowboard, paddleboarding, enjoying the mountain views and salty ocean air. After COVID-19 I moved back to Sudbury. Lockdowns really make you realize what's important, and for me the most important thing is family. So here we are back in Sudbury, I am currently in school for business and operating this Photo Booth on the side for income while I study. I am excited for this new journey of owning a small business and I hope you enjoy following along!
